Summary: Plastic surgery no one will ever notice doesn’t seem, at first, like something that would be very popular. But the most important audience for your plastic surgery procedure is an audience of one: you, the patient. That’s the only person that ever really needs to see your results. So you’re the one that should be the happiest with the way you look when your transformation, however subtle, is complete.

Plastic Surgery No One Will Ever Notice

Sometimes, you want your plastic surgery results to make a big splash so everyone notices your transformation. But there’s also something to be said for plastic surgery no one will ever notice, the plastic surgery that only you see. Of course, when we phrase it like that, the very idea might give you pause.

After all, you plastic surgery isn’t exactly cheap. It costs a pretty penny to go under the knife. And if you spend that much money on surgery, don’t you want people to at least notice the results?

Well, yes. And no. You want people to notice that you look good. But you don’t want people to notice you’ve undergone plastic surgery. That’s why, lately, surgeons have placed such an emphasis on natural looking results. So when we talk about plastic surgery no one will ever notice, we really mean these subtle procedures that just make you look great–with results that could be passed off as natural-looking.

Facial Procedures No One Will Ever Notice

One of the areas in which patients most especially want to achieve these natural looking results–the type that “no one will notice”–is around the face. And that makes sense. Humans are especially sensitive to changes in the face, meaning a small and subtle change goes a long way.

Happily, there are several procedures that patients can turn to in order to produce those more natural looking results:

  • Blepharoplasty: Also known as an eyelid lift, blepharoplasty is designed to mitigate lines and wrinkles from around the eyes. Left untreated, these lines and wrinkles can make the eyes look especially aged and fatigued. An eyelid lift, then, is a nice and subtle way of making your eyes look more youthful. And because the eyes are so important in facial recognition and body language, your whole face looks more youthful.
  • Mini Facelift: A so-called mini facelift takes the same basic approach to making your face look more youthful as a facelift does: eliminate excess skin and, therefore, lines and wrinkles. It’s just that a mini facelift is much more targeted and selective, making a few tiny incisions instead of a single, longer one. This means that the results are more subtle, but recovery is much easier.

These subtle facial procedures are joined by perennial favorites such as Botox and dermal fillers. The benefit of these subtle results is that you’ll look a little more youthful, a little more rested, a little more content–and everyone will likely assume that it’s just because of you.

Body Contouring Procedures

Facial plastic surgery procedures become “plastic surgery no one will ever notice” because they make small but important changes. On the other end of the spectrum are body contouring procedures such as liposuction and tummy tuck. Those are procedures no one will else will ever notice because they tend to be in areas of the body that are consistently covered in clothing.

Sure, if you take a trip to the beach, someone might notice how slender your tummy looks–but they likely won’t be able to tell that you’ve had plastic surgery performed there. People will just see how good you look!

That said, it’s not that often that we travel to the beach. In your day to day life, on one will likely notice that you’ve undergone a liposuction or tummy tuck procedure unless you tell them you have. So why do it? Why get a liposuction or tummy tuck? They are, after all, incredibly popular plastic surgery procedure (regularly ranking in the top five).

The Most Important Audience is You

The answer to this question is also kind of the answer to all of plastic surgery: the most important audience in this whole thing is you. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about your body–not really. It only matters what you think about your body and about how you look.

So if you’re the only one that will notice your plastic surgery results, you’re still the only one that matters. Even if you’re the only one that will ever see your plastic surgery results, that doesn’t make them any less important.

Plastic surgery no one will ever notice isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if it gives you a boost in confidence and self esteem. Besides, even if people don’t notice the surgery, they’ll notice how good you look. And isn’t that really the whole point?
