Joseph J. Castellano
Dr. Joseph J. Castellano graduated with honors from the University of Florida before continuing on to medical school at the University of South Florida. While still in school, his research work received the coveted Watson Clinic Award; Dr. Castellano received clinical honors in surgery as well. After completing his first two years of residency in general surgery in Florida, Dr. Castellano continued his training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, which he then followed with an elective year of specialized training with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
After his formal schooling, Dr. Castellano pursued a cosmetic surgery fellowship that focused exclusively on the face and body, including the practice of specialized surgeries for facial rejuvenation and breast enhancement as well as abdominoplasty and other body contouring procedures. Dr. Castellano received his board certification from the American Board of Surgery in 2010.
A Florida native, Dr. Castellano’s practice is based in Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida, where he offers a full spectrum of cosmetic surgeries and nonsurgical rejuvenation treatments, including skin cancer management.
Dr. Castellano is actively involved with continued research for the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and also holds memberships in the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
