David N. Sayah
Beverly Hills board certified plastic surgeon Dr. David N. Sayah has a distinguished academic and professional career. After completing his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from UCLA, he stayed on at the UCLA School of Medicine, where he graduated among the top of his class with an honors thesis in surgery. Dr. Sayah then went on to specialize in general surgery at the NYU Medical Center, gaining extensive experience in critical care and trauma along the way. He then returned to UCLA Medical Center for his plastic surgery training.
Dr. Sayah pursued a fellowship in endoscopic plastic surgery, and is known as one of the foremost specialists in this elite field today; he authored a chapter on endoscopic rhytidectomy in The Art of Aesthetic Surgery: Principles and Techniques, Volume II and continues his professional research on the latest techniques and approaches used in modern-day endoscopic aesthetic procedures.
As part of his extensive research in the field of wound healing and scar formation, Dr. Sayah developed a specialized approach for addressing abnormal scar formation, and has authored a number of abstracts and scientific articles on the subject as well.
A staff member of UCLA, St. John’s and Cedars Sinai hospitals, Dr. Sayah is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, an Ambassador for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
